I have been been suffering from urine infection problem since a few years now. We had consulted quite a few doctors in Chattisgarh. Every time the medications were giving relief for some time and then back to the same problem. Finally, we decided to visit Delhi NCR for this problem. My son had heard of Credihealth services. We contacted them and asked for options. Finally we selected Medanta Gurgaon and Dr Rajesh Ahlawat for second opinion. We got a priority appointment with the doctor and had to wait only for some time before the appointment. Dr Ahlawat give us 5-7 minutes. He asked me questions about the problem and also checked all my last 1 year treatment papers. He was very meticulous and straight forward. Asked us a lot of questions also. Then he told us to get 2-3 tests done on the same day and show the reports. His secretary helped us and we got test done. A few ups and downs he said. And can be managed through medical interventions. Gave me medicines for 30 days. It has been more than 3 months and my urine infection has not returned. I am very satisfied with the doctor. I will recommend the doctor and Credihealth services.

Before starting the procedure, the doctor will go through the medical history of the patient. The doctor will also suggest if the patient needs to discontinue the medicines that can increase the risk of bleeding. It may include blood thinners such as warfarin or nonprescription pain relievers.
The doctor will also prescribe some antibiotics to prevent urinary tract infections. Usually, the doctor provides basic instructions like fasting before some hours of surgery. Follow all the instructions to avoid complications. Ask the doctor about the procedure and try to collect the required information.

In the first week of surgery, the patient may see blood in the urine. This is because the scab inside the bladder may loosen up. For this, the patient should take bed rest for a few weeks and drink more fluid. If the bleeding is too heavy or includes clots, patients are advised to call the doctor immediately.

Generally, prostate resection surgery takes 60-90 minutes. The doctor will start the surgery by giving anesthesia, either general anesthesia or spinal anesthesia. They will also give a dose of antibiotics to prevent infection.
The procedure starts by inserting the cystoscope or resectoscope into the genital and extend it through the urethra and into the prostate area. The doctor will not make an incision outside the body as the procedure is performed internally.
With the help of a cystoscope or resectoscope, the surgeon trims the tissue from inside the prostate gland. The doctor will remove a small piece at a time and make sure the irrigating fluid carries them into the bladder. All small pieces will be removed at the end of the operation.

Patients are advised to stay in the hospital for one or two days after the surgery. The patient will have a urinary catheter in place. This is because the swelling blocks urine flow. The catheter is placed for at least 24 to 48 hours or until the swelling wears off. During this time, the patient may notice some changes in the body like blood in your urine and irritating urinary symptoms.
The doctor will suggest the following things after the surgery:
Avoid strenuous activity, like a heavy lift for at least six weeks
Avoid sex for four to six weeks
Drink more water
Do not start the blood-thinning medication until the doctor gives a go-ahead
Taking high-fiber foods to avoid constipation
If there are symptoms that seem serious, patients should contact the doctor.
