A human heart has majorly four valves. The mitral valve, tricuspid valve, and the two atrioventricular valves in the upper chamber and lower chambers of the heart. Heart valve replacement is a procedure of medical treatment in which the heart valve disease is treated by repairing or replacing the heart valves. This depends on several health factors of the individual if the heart valve replacement is a right choice or not. Factors on which heart valve replacement depends on are the medical condition of the heart valve and the age of the individual. The treatment proceeds through a surgical method known as minimally invasive and open heart surgery.
