You may be able to go home after a month from the surgery, and will have to visit the hospital after 2 weeks for a check up. You can get to work in 6-8 week sfrom the surgery and start exercising and other energy consuming activities after 2 months fro the surgery, considering all your report are normal. Life goes on like before within 3 months of the surgery.
