Dr. Ashutosh Chauhan

Dr. Ashutosh Chauhan is Consultant - Hepatobiliary Surgery & Liver Transplant . Dr. Chauhan did his MBBS from Maulana Azad Medical College, New Delhi and MS in General Surgery from Lady Hardinge Medical College New Delhi, University of Delhi. He further went for higher education to the United States of America after completing his senior residency in general surgery at L.H.M.C, New Delhi, He joined the residency program in General Surgery at the University of Illinois, Chicago, Metropolitan Group of Hospitals where he focused on Vascular and Transplant Surgery. Dr. Chauhan returned to India in 2012 and helped establish the Liver Transplant program at the BL Kapur Memorial Hospital in New Delhi. This is one of the biggest Living Donor Liver Transplant programs in the world with close to 350 LDLT procedures done every year.  Some of the services offered by Dr. Chauhan are Chronic Disease of Liver and its management, Liver, Pancreas and Small Bowel Transplant surgery, Hepato-Biliary surgical procedures and reconstructions, Bile duct injury and its management, Carcinoma Gall Bladder, Cholangiocarcinoma, Hepatocellular carcinoma and Pancreas oncology procedures.
