Dr. Vidyadhar S Lad is a world-renowned adult cardiac surgeon. He is presently working as a consultant at Kokilaben Dhirubhai Ambani Hospital, Mumbai. Here, Dr. Vidyadhar S Lad has successfully done nearly 500 heart surgeries in 4 years of his practice at this hospital. He has rich clinical experience in conducting coronary bypass surgery, minimal access surgery, maze surgery, aortic aneurysm surgery, surgery for cardiac tumors, heart transplant and more. Dr. Vidyadhar S Lad graduated with a medical degree (MBBS) from KEM Hospital, University of Mumbai. Followed by this, he pursued his MS, MCh (Cardiovascular and Thoracic Surgery), and DNB. He has also gained training through fellowships from Canada and the UK. He is credited for starting the Adult ECMO program at KDAH, Mumbai.
