Harsh

Bangalore

This is the story of newborn Harsh, who came into this world and brought happiness to everyone’s face as he became the eldest of everyone in the family. He is the first child in the whole family, and the family members saw no child in the house for ages. But there were some complications during the birth of Harsh. While going through the process of delivery, Harsh got his left arm stuck in the pelvis of the mother. This caused injury to Harsh, and he developed brachial plexus.

How did Harsh come in contact with Credihealth?

The parents of Harsh who had the delivery of the newborn child at Manipal Hospital, Hebbal after having a consultation with Credihealth, came to know that there are many therapies that can help the child regain the mobility and functionality of the arm. At the initial stage, the parents started looking for a physical therapist through the medium of Credihealth. The therapist would help the baby to develop certain stretches at home while preventing contractures. Harsh was growing fast, he soon became 2 years old and the arm was still in the same condition. Although Harsh was still young, he was given various medications, therapies, and various injections to correct the mobility in the arm.

How did Harsh overcome the disease?

Soon Harsh became 12 years old. He was managing his hours of the day while going to school and exercising in the evening so that he could keep himself healthy and alive with the disease. At such a young age, he developed the thoughts that he would not live long. Seeing the condition and the developing changes in the child, the father of Harsh went to the Manipal Hospital, Hebbal, where they had the birth of the child. The doctors of Manipal Hospital, Hebbal set a solution and decided to have surgery called Nerve Graft. Harsh, who is now an elder brother of a young girl got a successful surgery on his arm. He could now thank the doctors of Manipal Hospital, Hebbal, who helped him develop mobility in his arm with time.
