1. A Detox Diet
Ensure that you drink a glass of warm water mixed with lemon and honey every morning, to remove the harmful acids that have accumulated in your body. Increase your fiber intake, by eating homemade food especially simple dal. Avoid salty and spicy food, especially red chilly as it will upset your metabolic activity further.
Water helps in removing all the toxins in your body. Make sure that you consume at least eight glasses of water on a daily basis.
2. Get Sleep
During the 9 days of Navratri your body clock has surely been on a wild schedule. Late nights with family and friends and playing Dandiya will definitely take its toll post Navratri. You have to ensure that you go back to your regular routine as soon as possible. Eat healthy and at least maintain a two hour gap between your meal and bedtime.
3. Start Exercising
Regular physical activity builds up your stamina and keeps your body healthy. If during the festive season you have ignored your daily jogging, swimming or yoga sessions, you need to start again. Ensure that you go back to your daily exercise gradually giving your body a chance to adjust itself.
4. Revitalize Yourself
Sleep well, you can also indulge yourself and visit the spa. A refreshing massage does wonders to your cramped and tired muscles. However, ensure that you go for a spa treatment after a few days and not immediately. To ensure that you look good, give yourself a scalp massage with warm oil at least three times in a week and use cream to moisturize your skin.
