The number of people getting diagnosed with Coronavirus is increasing every day, and no one is spared. A number of coronavirus cases among public figures have recently come to light.

Tom Hanks & Rita Wilson

Tom Hanks took to Instagram on Wednesday saying that the Hanks' couple was in Australia and had tested positive for COVID-19. They decided to get themselves tested on account for fever and chills. They are being tested, observed, and kept in isolation for as long as the medical professionals deem necessary.

Nadine Dorries, Health Minister, UK

Nadine Dorries tested positive for Coronavirus and has self-isolated ever since. The 62-year-old Health Minister started showing signs of the virus last week when she was attending an event hosted by the UK Prime Minister on account of International Women's Day. A list has been made of all the people who met her and might have come in contact with her after she started showing the signs, and those showing symptoms have been asked to self-isolate.

Rudy Gobert

NBA made an announcement of suspending the season after Jazz centre Rudy Gobert was tested positive for coronavirus. Jazz has been quarantined inside Chesapeake Energy Arena and the players are going to be tested. They are expected to stay at the Arena while the tests are processed. Also, the teams that have played Utah Jazz in the last 10 days have been advised to self-isolate.

Daniele Rugani

The Italy centre-back Daniele Rugani has tested positive for Coronavirus too. Isolation procedures for Rugani and all those he came in contact with have been activated with immediate effect. Having already claimed thousands of lives across the globe, WHO declared this Coronavirus outbreak as a pandemic. However, it is important to understand that this virus is not only taking lives but is resulting in a global market turmoil and disrupting everyday life of people everywhere. People and governments alike, are beginning to go on a panic mode, and rightly so. Drastic measures are being taken by countries to contain this virus as far as possible. US President Donald Trump is restricting travel to the US from more than 24 European countries in the Schengen zone (not including, United Kingdom) for 30 days. This travel ban is applicable only to foreign nationals and only to people. All American citizens who underwent screening at the time of entering the country will be free of this restriction. Also, there shall be no restriction on the movement of goods from Europe. Italy has gone on total lockdown and has suspended all sport-related events until 3rd April. All shops, except pharmacies, supermarkets, and food stores have been shut down too. Strict travel restrictions have come into place in Italy too. Russia, in an attempt to tackle the impact of this pandemic, has closed most of the entry points along its border with China. Chinese citizens have been temporarily banned from entering the country and people who are returning from high-risk places have been advised to self-quarantine. Flights to and from France, Germany, Italy and Spain have been suspended in Russia, and tourist visas are not going to be issued to Italian citizens. All entertainment, sports, and other public events that would include more than 5,000 people have been banned by Moscow, until 10th April. In the UK, up to 18,000 3rd year, undergraduate nurses have been invited by the Chief Executive of NHS to be of assistance. Also, the capacity of testing people for the virus is being upscaled. People arriving in the UK from Italy are being asked to self-isolate for 14 days. India, too, has decided to isolate itself until 15th April. All visas, except those to diplomatic, UN or international bodies, and official & employment purposes, have been suspended.
