Dr. Ratnakar Rao

Dr. Ratnkar Rao is the prominent and leading orthopedic surgeons in Hyderabad with an experience spanning over 11 years in Orthopedic & Joint replacement surgery. Currently, he is associated with Continental Hospitals as a Senior Consultant Orthopedic & Joint Replacement Surgeon. Till date, Dr. Ratnankar has performed over 1000+ Orthopedic & Joint replacement surgeries. Dr. Ratnakar has also been attached to various premier medical institutions in India & across the world. After graduating from Andhra Medical College, Vishakapatnam, Dr. Ratnankar went on to pursue an internship at King George Hospital in medical and surgical specialties. 

During his post-graduate training, he underwent training in both trauma and cold orthopedics. To further expand his specialization, he underwent an observership in Prince Charles Hospital, Brisbane. Here, he observed complex joint replacement surgeries and participated in clinical discussions which helped his clinical acumen. Dr. Ratnankar pursued his Fellowship Training in Adult Reconstruction in NUHS Singapore, where he received training on computer-assisted knee replacements complex knee surgeries, arthroscopy of knee and shoulder problems and reconstructive surgeries in tumors.

Dr. Ratnankar also holds a special interest in specializes in Knee & Hip Replacement Surgery, Trauma Surgery, Arthroplasty, Arthroscopy & Pediatric Orthopedics. He is a member of various prestigious national & international orthopedic associations like Indian Orthopedic Association, AO Trauma Foundation, SICOT, APAS India & OASIS.
