Dr. Ravi Chandra Kelkar

Dr. Ravi Chandra Kelkar is a Consultant - Orthopaedics in Columbia Asia Hospital, Hebbal, Bangalore. He is a dedicated Orthopaedist and completed his Graduation - MBBS from Bangalore Medical College in Bangalore, India. He initially interned at Government Hospitals - Victoria Hospital and Bowring Hospital and later worked as a Junior Resident in Orthopaedics and Trauma at JIPMER Hospital in Pondicherry, India; Senior House Officer in Orthopaedics and Trauma at George Eliot Hospital in Nuneaton, Warwickshire, UK; and Consultant Orthopaedic Surgeon (Specialist in Joint Replacement) at Columbia Asia Hospitals in Hebbal, Bangalore, India. Dr. Kelkar is well adept in treatments related to Accident and Emergency as well as Primary and Revision Joint Replacements. He has also actively taught medical students and has a good teaching experience. Dr. Kelkar has authored various publications, paper presentations and research works such as ‘Cutaneous Larva Migrans in England: A Case Report in a returning traveller’, which was further published in British Medical Journal-EMJ: published 2007; vol-24, issue-9.
