Dr. Swati Rajagopal

Dr. Swati Rajagopal is a Consultant - Infectious Disease and Travel Medicine at Aster CMI Hospital, Bangalore. Dr. Swati Rajagopal did her basic medical training at MS Ramaiah Medical college, following which she went on to pursue post-graduate specialization in Infectious Diseases at Royal Prince Alfred hospital, affiliated with the University of Sydney. Dr Rajagopal then underwent extensive training in her specialization in tropical diseases, travel medicine and infection control at London school of hygiene and tropical medicine. Prior to her appointment at Aster CMI hospital, Dr Swati Rajagopal served as an Infectious Disease physician at Columbia Asia Group of Hospitals, Bangalore, as a medical registrar at Royal Prince Alfred Hospital and as a Resident, Internal Medicine at Mallya Hospital, Bangalore. Over the years, Dr. Swati Rajagopal has gained expertise in dealing with Febrile patients presenting with rash, Upper respiratory tract infections and pleuro-pulmonary and bronchial infections, Urinary tract infections of varying severity, Peritonitis and other intra-abdominal infections, Cardiovascular infections, Central nervous system infections, Skin and soft tissue infections, Infections related to trauma, burns, and human and animal bites, Gastrointestinal infections and food poisoning syndromes and many more.
